Tax Cut for 95% of all Americans?

Posted by Mike on February 4th, 2010

Remember last year’s Stimulus Bill?
If you earned less than 250k or was it 200k or was it less… They kept changing it and my memory is foggy now. Your stimulus if you drew a paycheck was $13 a week or $26 if married.
They latter called it a tax cut for 95% of all Americans, just so they could keep their campaign promise.
This week most people should see less take home pay, Federal Income tax goes up, mine did by $10, after all the tax cut was a onetime deal for $500 spread out over a year.
So if that was a tax cut, is this breaking a promise not to raise taxes for the middle class?
I don’t know about you, but if it was a Tax cut, then this is a Tax increase and another broken promise, but who’s counting.
