Who Do You Trust?

Last week a number of companies reported that Obamacare will cost them hundreds of Millions of dollars more.  That they may reduce benefits to offset the increased cost.  Companies such as Caterpillar,  $100 million; Deere & Co., $150 million; AK Steel, $31 million; 3M: $90 million; Valero Energy, $20 million; and AT&T, $1 billion

Today, in retaliation, Congress, wants to pull the CEO’s of these companies in front of them, demanding all correspondence, emails, documents to explain their statements.
When Congress told us that Obamacare would only cost $950 Billion over 10 years, and would reduce the deficit,  they used every slight of hand, spin, double count, and every imaginary savings they could think of.  They left out the $250 billion “Doctor Fix”.  They even added a government take over of Student loans saying it would save $60 billion and applied this to Obamacare.

Industry uses GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and must pass an independent 3rd party audit.
