This is one of the premier events in the Southeast. The Rattlesnake Round-Up is over 40 years old and attracts approximately 50,000 visitors each year. Fourth Saturday in April   Sweet Grass Dairy - Market Days Sweet Grass, 140 acres that is home to the cheese making facility and the goat herd. Their aim is to handcraft fresh, semi-ripened, naturally aged goat and cow cheeses that you will find unique and delicious. Market Days are usually held twice a year (spring and fall). Our Great Southern Antique Car Rally is a spin-off from the Great American Race. In 1989, we started with 70 particpants and now average 120 or more. We mostly eat, ride, dance, and have a good time. This event features a dramatic depiction of Native American Life. The event features Native American dancing, drumming, exhibits, story telling, taste treats, and craft demostrations and is sponsored by the Lower Muskogee Creek Tribe.

1st Saturday in November     Mule Day     Cairo, Ga
The day begins with a sunrise breakfast of homemade bicuits and sausage. The dust settles over 500 booths of crafts, goodies, and wares from near and far. The parade winds through the small town as judges look for the prettiest, ugliest, and most ornery mules. Spectators wind their way back to the mule grounds to enjoy BBQ, fish fry, and more spending time shopping. There's cane juice and syrup made by a mule-driven cane grinder.
