Last Saturday in January Rattlesnake Roundup Whigham, GA This is one of the premier events in the Southeast. The Rattlesnake Round-Up is over 40 years old and attracts approximately 50,000 visitors each year. This event includes Arts and Crafts, Concessins, Snake Handling Demostrations, Snake Cooking, Snake Hunting, Entertainment, Children's Rides and a 5K Run/Walk of a certified Race Course. First Weekend in March Thomasville Antiques Show & Sale The Thomasville Antiques Show Committee presents a multitude of the country's most prestigious dealers who offer the opportunity to view and purchase exquisite antiques. Call 229-225-4004 for more information. Fourth Saturday in April Sweet Grass Dairy - Market Days Sweet Grass, 140 acres that is home to the cheese making facility and the goat herd. Their aim is to handcraft fresh, semi-ripened, naturally aged goat and cow cheeses that you will find unique and delicious. Market Days are usually held twice a year (spring and fall). 1st Weekend of May Great Southern Antique Auto Show and Rally Cairo, Ga Our Great Southern Antique Car Rally is a spin-off from the Great American Race. In 1989, we started with 70 particpants and now average 120 or more. We mostly eat, ride, dance, and have a good time.
